Social Support

Planned and tailored to your needs.

Our social support is all about helping you feel connected, included and supported in your community. Social support means having someone friendly with you to join activities, meet people, try new things and enjoy life — with help when you need it and encouragement along the way.

We don’t just offer assistance — we create real opportunities for you to enjoy life, build confidence and do the things that matter to you, in your own way and at your own pace.

What We Offer

Assistance with Social
& Community Participation

Get involved, try new things and enjoy life in your community.

Connect & Belong

We help you discover activities and groups where you feel comfortable and welcome. We can help you:

  • Join a club or group
    • like art, sports, gardening, books, hobbies or social clubs.
  • Use local facilities
    • such as the gym, library, community centre or park.
  • Get involved
    • volunteering or joining local events to meet new people.
  • Travel safely
    • learning to use public transport or getting support with transport.

Choice of Support

You can choose the type of support that feels right for you:

  • One-on-one support
    • a personalised experience with your own support worker, focusing on your goals, interests and confidence at a pace that suits you.
  • Group support
    • a fun, social way to meet others, join group activities and build friendships while trying new things together.

Both options are friendly, safe and flexible — you decide what feels comfortable. Whether you want quiet one-on-one support or the energy of a group, we’ll be right there beside you, cheering you on every step of the way.

Groups & Social Clubs

We run friendly, welcoming social groups where you can make friends, have fun and feel part of a community. Join us for:

  • Anime Club
    • held every Wednesday afternoon.
  • Breakfast Club
    • relaxed morning catch-ups.
  • Pizza & Bowling Nights
    • fun nights out with the group.

Everyone is welcome — you can come along, try something new and enjoy time with good company.

A safe, friendly place to meet people, build confidence and have a great time.

Need To Know

Frequently asked questions, answered.

We know starting a new support service can bring lots of questions.

Social Support means having a friendly person from our team help you get out and about! We can help you join clubs, go to events, try new hobbies, or just meet up for a coffee. It’s all about helping you feel connected, included, and having fun!
You are the boss! We are here to support your choices and your goals. If you want to go bowling one week and visit the library the next, that’s great. We make sure the support you get fits your interests and your speed.
This support comes from the Core Support part of your NDIS plan. Just let us know if your plan is managed by you or a Plan Manager, and we will take care of the paperwork! It's our job to make the payment side easy for you.
Absolutely! It’s normal to feel nervous. Your support worker is there to be your friendly guide and supporter. We can start slowly with one-on-one support until you feel comfortable, or we can find small, quiet groups to join first. We move at your pace.
Yes, you can! We know that many fun community activities happen on weekends and in the evenings. Just let us know when you want to head out, and we will work to match you with a support worker during those times.
No way! This is all about exploration and finding what you love. If you try a group and decide it’s not for you, just tell your support worker. We will simply stop that activity and help you find something else you might enjoy more!
